(Los Angeles/PRNewswire) Sean "P. Diddy" Combs has announced a global casting call, "We Want You," for on-air talent for his new network, Revolt TV, which is set to launch in October 2013. The mogul is looking for music fans between the ages of thirteen and twenty-five to join the network. In an Instagram video, Combs asked entrants to submit 15-second audition videos explaining why they are REVOLT. "I need individuals that are fearless and speak the truth. Young talent. Fresh faces. Attitude," stated Combs. "I want to empower the creators of this generation and show artists this is their channel."
The launch of Combs' network was announced back in February with several news outlets, including the New York Times, reporting that Comcast had acquired distribution rights for Revolt. In June, however, network representatives reported that they had also finalized a national carriage deal with Time Warner Cable; which will make Revolt one of the largest launches in cable TV history when it goes live next month.
The open casting call will close on September 30, and submissions will be narrowed down through the month of October. One top participant could be offered the chance of a lifetime to join REVOLT as an on-air host.
