Spoilers predicted correctly, as Sean Lowe picked Catherine after letting go of a shocked Lindsay on the three-hour finale of last night's “The Bachelor”..
Following the send off, Chris Harrison handed Sean Lowe a letter from Catherine that previews teased was a “Dear John”, however it was a declaration of her undying love for “The Bachelor”.
Sean didn't plan to break Lindsay’s heart; seeming legitimately torn between the two. But he did know the consequences, especially after Emily Maynard broke his on “The Bachelorette”.
During the live portion of "After the Final Rose of The Bachelor”, Sean appeared to an audience of screaming women professing his love for Catherine Giudici and apologizing to Lindsay. Sean Lowe gleamed with pride and joy as he kissed his new fiance for the first time.
Sean and Catherine will have their wedding played out on ABC at a yet to be determined during a very special edition of "The Bachelor gets Married", because Sean said, it was where their relationship began. The happy couple wouldn't reveal much else of their future together.
The newest edition to ABC's reality television dating show is, Desiree, who will be the next "Bachelorette", airing Monday evenings this summer.
