Sean Lowe answers burning questions about Catherine, Peta and ‘DWTS’

Sean Lowe, the newly engaged ‘Bachelor’ turned dancing star, sat down with Jimmy Kimmel on March 21 to answer burning questions about fiancé Catherine Giudici, dance partner Peta Murgatroyd and his experiences on “Dancing with the Stars.” The interview gave fans a peek into Sean and Catherine's on-going love story.

“We’re happily engaged,” Lowe reported to Jimmy. He went on to explain that he and Catherine are living in the same city, but not in the same apartment. “We’re taking the old-fashioned approach,” he added. When asked about the “born again virgin” term, Lowe answered that he has never used that particular phrase, but that he and Catherine are definitely waiting until after their wedding to get intimate. He went on to talk about the last season of “The Bachelor” and said the ratings were great. “Maybe the show was geared toward the sexy side in seasons past,” he stated. “This year, it went more towards romance and finding love and America responded."

Sean Lowe confirmed that he and Catherine are planning their TV wedding, which could possibly air sometime over the summer on ABC. He also revealed that several of the women from “The Bachelor” could possibly be on the guest list. He told Jimmy that Catherine is in no way threatened by the other suitors, nor is she jealous of his relationship with Peta Murgatroyd on “Dancing with the Stars.”

This week, Sean cast aside the roses and laced up his dancing shoes to compete on season 16 of “Dancing with the Stars” with New Zealand beauty, Peta Murgatroyd. Their Foxtrot received mixed reviews from the judges and they landed towards the bottom of the leaderboard. Sean said that he and Peta joke around quite a bit and that she’s like a sister to him. “There’s no sexual chemistry whatsoever."

Towards the end of the interview, Jimmy reminded Sean that he picked Catherine as the winner before "The Bachelor" ended. He went on to congratulate Lowe and his new love, Catherine Giudici, who was seated in the audience. “You must be like a rocket ready to launch,” Kimmel joked.
