Sean Lennon has provided some support for an upcoming musical group called the Americans. Lennon produced and appears in the just-released video for "Requiem." The song is very pop-oriented and has a nice melody to it. You can see the video at left. (Disclaimer: The video has images acted out of a woman hanging in a noose and another of a hand being amputed. Not appropriate for all ages.)
The Americans are one of several groups in a contest to get on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. You can vote for them on the Rolling Stone site.

Don't know why it's so controversial. The video seems to be a deliberate homage to the movie "Harold & Maude". Loved it...
