Fox News Personality and national Conservative radio talk host, Sean Hannity, has taken to Twitter - and his fans, friends and even foes have gotten into some VERY lively conversations.
Hannity's "Twitter Handle" is @SeanHannity and one of his most ardent supporters has created the Twitter "hashtag" #LNYHBT -"Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled."
For many years, Sean has used this Biblical quote during tough political times and other stressful circumstances of life. The new hashtag has caught on like wildfire in the "Twitterverse."
Many readers will remember Sean Hannity from his radio days here in Atlanta - which brought his talents to the attention of Roger Ailes and Fox News, and catapulted him to national attention. The Sean Hannity Show is broadcast daily on WSB Radio in Atlanta.
A few of Hannity's more highly publicized visits to Atlanta include doing his show, "Hannity"- live from the Atlanta Tea Party at the Golden Dome in November 2009 and a book signing to promote his best selling book, "Conservative Victory-2010" in Gwinnett County. Most recently, he presented "Sean Hannity's Holiday Salute To The Troops" this year at the Cobb Energy Center . Performers and participants in the program included Atlanta's own Jeff Foxworthy, Michael W. Smith, Col. Oliver North and another local Atlanta celebrity, WSB radio host and former presidential candidate, Herman Cain. An entertaining and heartfelt salute to our military and our veterans, the holiday concerts as well as Sean's famous "Freedom Concerts" benefit The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund.
Sean admits this Twitter participation has become something of an addiction and he loves responding to the "tweets" of his legion of "followers."
Hannity has also gotten involved in a few highly-charged "Twitter Wars" with a well-known liberal Hollywood/New York actor (who shall be nameless because 1. he's my cousin and 2. Sean has called a halt to it, out of respect for the star's daughter, who asked Sean via a "tweet" to "leave my father alone.")
Over the past few months, Hannity has hinted about a "project" he has been working on to coalesce his "army" of listeners - to be revealed at the appropriate time.
