Sean Hannity's ratings have dropped significantly since the 2012 election. The conservative show has lost several viewers after Mitt Romney lost the election to Barack Obama. On Jan. 1, The Inquisitr reported that while the decline in viewership was expected, the drop was much more steep than what was initially projected.
"Hannity saw his audience fall by about 50 percent after the election ended," reported The Inquisitr. Naturally a lot of people wanted to shut themselves off from politics for a while, given the inundation of commercials, signs, and everything else that comes along with an election. Unfortunately, this has really hurt Hannity.
Sean Hannity's ratings have yet to bounce back. It seems as though people on the left... and on the right have decided to stop watching conservative shows on a regular basis. Many say that it has to do with the attitudes of these hosts and others just don't want to be bothered anymore.
"Before the election, Hannity was riding high in the ratings and topped thought leaders on the right, like Dick Morris, Ann Coulter, Peggy Noonan and talk radio bulldog Mark Levin, who predicted Obama would lose in a landslide," the New York Daily News reported. As they say, all good things must come to an end.
Sean Hannity's ratings could recover some, but the high that he experienced in 2012 may never return.
