Sean Hannity is the "worst excuse for a journalist" says Keith Ellison, reports The Inquisitr on Feb. 27, 2013. The conservative Fox News TV host and the Democratic congressman went head-to-head Tuesday night on Fox's "Hannity." "What you just displayed was not journalism," said Ellison. "It was yellow journalism." When Ellison called Hannity a Republican, the 51-year-old political commentator said he was not a registered Republican but a "registered conservative."
After the insults and jabs, Hannity eventually cut the congressman off. "Congressman, you are a total waste of time. I'm moving on because our audience deserves better," he said.
Have TV political talk shows become nothing more than boxing matches, or schoolyard playgrounds, when people from opposing political parties meet? In Gerhard Adams's article "Why Liberals and Conservatives Can't Get Along," he writes, "Not only does each side have a "no tolerance" attitude towards opposing views, in most cases, they actually present a caricature of the opposition in most discussions so that the differences are accentuated and made more absurd."
