It's been a busy week for the casting team of "Supernatural: Tribes." The CW announced today, Tuesday, February 25, 2014, that Sean Faris ("The Vampire Diaries," "Pretty Little Liars") will be joining the cast of the series. Word on the street is that he will play werewolf Julian Durant... and sources say the character is no fan of shapeshifter David Hayden (Nathaniel Buzolic.)

This news comes hot off the heels of the CW's casting announcement for the series' leads on February 20, 2014. Nathaniel Buzolic ("The Vampire Diaries," "The Originals") has been tapped to star as shapeshifter David Hayden while relative newcomer Lucien Laviscount ("Skins," "Episodes") has been tapped to play Ennis Roth, a former police cadet who was unwittingly pulled into the world of the supernatural after his fiancee was killed during a skirmish between two of Chicago's ruling families.

The series will debut as an embedded pilot during the twentieth episode of "Supernatural" which is slated to air on April 29, 2014.
