Sean Connery, best known for is role as 007 James Bond just turned 80 years old.
NDTV Movies reported, "The Scottish actor, most famous for portraying British secret agent James Bond between 1962 and 1983, celebrates his 80th birthday today and admits that it is unlikely to see him grace the silver screen again."
"'I don't think I'll ever act again. I have so many wonderful memories but those days are over,' Connery said."
"'I've done a voice over for an 85-minute animated film called Sir Billi, which I enjoyed and it will be exciting to see that project finished. Shirley Bassey sings the theme and Ruby Wax was also involved,' he added."
The Daily Record said, "Surrounded by wife Micheline and 15 of his close family at his home in the Bahamas, the 007 legend said he was recently laid low by weeks of health problems but he was on the mend."
Connery's hard work during his lifetime has earned him much respect. As a man in his 80's it is good to be mindful that he deserves respect because of his age, something our youth-driven culture often forgets.
Leviticus 19:32 says "You shall stand up before the gray head and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God: I am the LORD."
