If you live in the state of Washington you don’t need to be a football fan to know that our beloved Seahawks won the wild card game yesterday. Once again it would seem that the Great Mother is on the side of her Seahawks. If you missed the game on Jan. 6, 2013 you really missed out. It was truly a nail biter with the Redskins getting a good early lead. In watching the game it was very clear that these two teams did not like each other and the game was very physical. Next weekends game should also be a good one as it would seem that the Great Mother really does prefer her birds and now the Seahawks will go up against the Falcons.
Here in Tacoma next weekends game will divide a house as one of the residents is a Pagan who moved to Tacoma from Georgia. Although she may not be a football fan, she will surely be cheering on the Falcons as her home team. The Falcons are favored by 2.5 over the Seahawks and with the way that the Seahawks have been fighting their way towards the Super Bowl this will be a big game no matter who you favor.
Once again the 12th man will be holding its breath next weekend and pulling out all of their tricks to try and help the Seahawks make another win and bring them one step closer to winning the Super Bowl. Both the Seahawks and the Falcons are talented teams and they have played great this year. Next weekends game will be bird on bird at 10 a.m. For one Tacoma couple it will be a divided house on game day as we watch the Great Mother pit the birds against each other.
The bird on bird match up seems slightly odd since the month of January corresponds mostly with the element of earth. No matter how odd the match up seems in terms of correspondence the 12th man is surely enjoying it. Hundreds of fans lined the streets early this morning to greet the team as they returned home from the east coast and the team seemed happy to be back and just as excited for next weekends game as the fans. Here in the Pacific northwest Seahawks paraphernalia has sold out and many people are turning to the online retails to find anything with Seahawks on it.
