The Seattle Seahawks trade is creating a buzz today, with news that John Moffitt has been traded to the Cleveland Browns.
The Seattle Post Intelligencer reported on August 20 that Seattle traded Moffitt in exchange for Browns' defensive lineman Brian Sanford.
Moffitt was third-round pick out of Wisconsin back in 2011.
He started nine games prior to a knee injury that ended his first season.
Once he recovered from his knee injury, he started six of the eight games he played last season. He also played in two playoff games. .
When asked about the trade, Moffitt told reporters that he had "bad feelings" about the trade, stating, "At the end of the day it’s a business, it’s money, it’s X’s and O’s, it’s who can you get and who is worth what."
Browns coach Rob Chudzinski spoke about the trade, saying, "John's a tough and versatile lineman who will be in the mix for us up front."
