Seahawks tickets are one hot item, and not just in the great northwest. Just like the Super Bowl, the AFC and NFC Championship games are also one hot ticket and are not only are they very pricey, but very hard to come by.
However, are the Seahawks staff holding tickets back from 49ers fans?
According to a Washington Post report on Jan. 13, if you live in California, don't be expecting to scoop up any NFC Title tickets for Sunday's big game, unless you have a fake ID or a good mustache.
The Post reports:
The Seahawks will not be selling tickets for the NFC championship game Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers to anyone using a billing address in California, the team announced Sunday. Tickets go on sale on the team’s website Monday and will be sold only to fans with billing addresses in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Alaska, Hawaii, British Columbia and Alberta.
California fans will have to go through secondary ticket markets.
Seattle does have one of the best home field advantages in all of sports, but this seems a bit extreme, don't you think?
The best revenge for fans - have the 49ers win and advance to the Super Bowl, but it won't be easy.
