Seahawks, Broncos take control of NFL power rankings

The NFL power rankings are only needed for four more weeks after Week 13. Following the events of Dec. 1 and Dec. 2, it is a bit easier to form the very top of the rankings now. But first, here is the new list of the No. 32 to No. 11 spots in the NFL, from those playing out the string to those fighting for their lives in December.

The top of the power rankings didn’t really change much, despite the showdowns between top teams. Thanks to the mass parity of the NFL, it was hard to drop the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints too much for their key losses. However, they are nowhere near the top two teams that they lost to this past weekend -- and maybe few NFL teams are right now.

The accompanying slideshow lists the top of the power rankings, although eight are playing catchup. While the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos won’t necessarily be the sole survivors in January, it is hard to see them budging too much in December now.
