Seahawks are headed to the Super Bowl, somewhere

If you are like most people in the Pacific Northwest you watched at least part of the Seahawk and 49er game last night and you know that the Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl as a result of their win. However, what you might now know is where the Super Bowl is. This is because no one can seem to get the location straight. No matter what station you watched the game on you would hear the announcers saying that the Super Bowl will be in New York but as every dedicated football knows, Super Bowl 48 will be on February 2, 2014 at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Even CBS News couldn’t get it right and posted an article this morning to their webpage that reads “The Seattle Seahawks are bringing their game-changing defense - and the ‘12th Man’ - to the Big Apple for the Super Bowl.” Sorry CBS, and all others who have announced the Super Bowl is going to be in New York, but the Super Bowl is in New Jersey. Granted, they are small states and close together but they are certainly not the same state. No matter the location, Super Bowl 48 is going to be a huge event between two great teams.

As the 12th Man celebrates a grand victory today, be sure to set the record straight. The Super Bowl is in New Jersey, not the Big Apple and not New York. This year’s event will be spectacular and possibly the biggest Super Bowl in the history of the event. You can be sure that New Jersey will soon fill with the 12th Man and fans will turn everything can blue and green.
