Seacrest Hough split -- something that many people didn't see coming -- was top news on Saturday, March 16. Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough decided to break up after nearly 3 years together. According to Us Weekly, Hough couldn't handle Seacrest's schedule. While many people believe that Seacreast was dragging his feet when it came to popping the question is to blame, sources say Ryan's busy schedule is what ultimately drove them apart.
"Dude works all the time. He never sleeps. It's a lifestyle she couldn't handle anymore. Work always, always came first [for Ryan] She wants a more lowkey life," said a source.
The Seacrest Hough split is not something that people expected but an engagement wasn't really expected either. Ryan Seacrest always did a good job at dodging burning relationship questions and it seemed like marriage wasn't on his "to do" list. With his budding career ("American Idol" host, radio host, and various producer gigs), Ryan may feel as though his life is complete.
Hough likely wants to get married and it's quite possible that she didn't want to wait for Ryan any more. Everything with Seacrest was totally business and many didn't think anything more was going to come out of their relationship. Those people were evidently right.
