A sea lion stench problem at San Diego's La Jolla Cove is now causing a lawsuit. On Dec. 28, Fox News reported that this has become such a problem that businesses are now filing lawsuits to see if they can get it taken care of once and for all.
La Valencia Hotel and the restaurant George's at the Cove say that they are losing business over this problem. At this time, they do believe that solutions exist but nobody is willing to do anything about it. They have tried washing off the rocks but it hasn't been good enough.
Visitors love to go to San Diego's La Jolla Cove to see the animals in a protected area. They play, eat, and just enjoy life, but now it sounds like something has to be done. They do not want to get rid of the animals, but the only solutions they may have is to move some of them or to start cleaning up the area better.
What do you think they should do about the sea lion stench? Sound off in the comments below.
