Police in Sea Isle City, New Jersey arrested a couple who decided to use the ocean as their bedroom and the waves as their sheets. A pair of hot and bothered thrill seekers took their desires for each other into the surf, and in front of gathering onlookers, got it on. For that, the couple got arrested.

The man, 27-year-old Matthew McPeak, and the object of his yearning, 23-year-old Stephanie Wallington, both from Philadelphia, were caught havng sex only a few meters out in the ocean Sunday night near the 46th Street beach. A crowd had gathered to watch the obvious lovebirds, and someone eventually had enough of the show and phoned up the police. Some families with children chose to vacate the beach because of the X-rated water show.

Police arrived when the pair were umm, still preoccupied and directed them to get out of the water. The couple were then placed under arrest for public lewdness. One of the eyewitness reportedly told CBSPhilly that the “female suspect took a long time to emerge because she had trouble tying up her bikini bottoms.”

The pair were released from the police station and order to make a re-appearance in court (fully clothed).

Philly.com carried a picture of our lovebirds, after they managed to dress themselves.
