This coming weekend is the annual Sea Cliff Mini Mart. On Sunday October 7, 2012 everyone is invited to visit the lovely Victoria Village of Sea Cliff, NY. The one square mile incorporated village is located on the Gold Coast of Long Island overlooking the Long Island Sound.
Sea Cliff is a unique little town that welcomes visitors to visit it's artistic village.
People who come across the unique, quirky village of Sea Cliff often never leave. Artists who live in Sea Cliff are very welcoming expressing themselves with music and through works of talent that are often on display in the many local parks and the town beach.
Mini Mart is an annual anticipated event for everyone to take part of.
The Sea Cliff Mini Mart is a day of fun, music, arts and activities. The main street, Sea Cliff Avenue, is closed to traffic in the center of town in order to invite folks to walk among the many artisans showing off and selling their wares. Music sings out with several bands joining in the fun. There is plenty of food and drink to enjoy by all.
Yard Sales join in the fun of Mini Mart day.
Take a walk off of Sea Cliff Avenue and find the many yard sales and tag sales that are sharing the day of fun. Mingle through the small side streets to see the interesting architecture and take the opportunity to stumble upon the goodies to be found among the yard sales taking part of Mini Mart day.
Visit a tag sale at a home that has been listed on the New York State and the National Register of Historic Places.
Come and see the goodies at my own restored Victorian home, one of the best surviving examples of Vernacular Queen Anne homes in Sea Cliff.
- Stop by at 182 14th Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday
- Check out the many Interior Designer treats for sale such as antique furnishings, dishes, China, glassware, artwork, designer shoes, vintage goodies, and more.
Enjoy taking a step back into a simpler time during a visit to Sea Cliff.
The village of Sea Cliff is known for its artist inhabitants and talented individuals that have built the little town into a mixture of beautiful homes and artistic statements. Sea Cliff is well known as a Victorian Village with its many Victorian, Queen Anne, and Gothic style architecture, with more homes and buildings built before 1940 than any other Nassau County community.
Enjoy beautiful Oyster Bay and have fun! Check out the live music and never be afraid to dance!
