Scrub-a-Dub your dog at the ARL dog wash on April 7

Clean off those muddy paws at the ARL dog was event.
Animal Rescue League of Iowa

April showers may bring May flowers but it means muddy paws too. On Saturday, April 7, you can bring your pooch to The Barking Lot in Urbandale for a bath to clean those muddy paws while supporting The Animal Rescue League of Iowa.

Scrub-a-Dub Dog Wash costs $20 for a bath and $10 for a nail trim. Your dog, however, will say that the service is priceless since a nice shampoo massage always seems to hit the spot.

The bath includes shampooing. If your dog has sensitive skin or needs to use a special shampoo, please either contact the person in charge of this event to find out what shampoo will be used or bring your own dog shampoo.

The Barking Lot is located at 3235 99th Street in Urbandale, Iowa and is a puppy haven. Trained staff at the Barking Lot provide boarding, training, grooming and spa treatments for your pet. They are located just south of the Douglas Avenue and 100th Street intersection in Urbandale, behind West Bank on 99th Street.

Come join in the fun from 9 a.m. to noon (or until the hot water runs out) and pamper your dirty pooch.
