Screen Actors Guild Awards 2013 (Video)

The 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA. This year marks the first SAG Awards since SAG-AFTRA united as one union. The SAG Awards, a platform for fellow actors to honor their own, included a SAG Lifetime Achievement Award honor for legendary actor, singer, dancer, writer, and comedian Dick Van Dyke for career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment. Dick Van Dyke is best known for his television series "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and the classic film "Mary Poppins;" however, a less known fact is that he was also an anchor for the CBS Morning Show. Dick Van Dyke still looks fantastic at 86 as he accepted his award and paid tribute to his fellow actors by stating, "I'm looking at the greatest generation in the history of actors."

Other award highlights included the "Argo" win for "Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture" accepted on behalf of the cast by Actor/Director Ben Affleck. Daniel Day-Lewis won for "Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role" for his performance in "Lincoln" and Jennifer Lawrence was honored for "Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role" for "Silver Linings Playbook."

Presenters included Nicole Kidman, Kerry Washington, Justin Timberlake, Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway (for "Les Miserables"), Daniel Day-Lewis and Sally Field (for "Lincoln"), Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper (for "Silver Linings Playbook"), Robert Dinero, Viola Davis, Jude Law, and "Zero Dark Thirty" star Jessica Chastain presented the In Memoriam.
