TAMPA: Local hard rock/metal cover band, Scream Machine, has parted ways with drummer, Mike Dillon. Mike Dillon originally joined the band back in June of this year when Scream Machine parted ways with original drummer, Jim Jankowski. The bands replacement for Mike Dillon is Dave Wrenn.
The St. Petersburg Live music Bar Scene Column has received the following press release from Scream Machine, announcing the line-up change:

Mike Dillon originally joined the band back in June of this year when Scream Machine parted ways with original drummer, Jim Jankowski.
Mike Dillon’s last live public performance with Scream Machine was this past weekend when the band performed a series of shows in Panama City. Mike Dillon’s last Public performance with Scream Machine in the Tampa Bay area was when the band performed at the 2011 KAM-BABS Sexiest Musicians of Tampa Bay Awards Show on July 24th at the Silver Dollar Lounge in Tampa.
Dave Wrenn brings more then 25 years of drumming experience to Scream Machine. Aside from being the former drummer of the Tampa Bay band, Livewire, along with Jah Hajj... Dave Wrenn is also the drummer for the all original power metal band, Overlorde. Overlorde is a nationally signed band, currently signed with Sonic Age Records.
With Dave Wrenn replacing Mike Dillon on drums, the Scream Machine line-up is as follows:
- Jay Hajj - Vocals
- Lee Fenical - Guitar
- Brad Keith - Bass
- Dave Wrenn - Drums
Scream Machine will debut Dave Wrenn as their new drummer this Saturday, August 13th when the band performs at the L.A. Hangout in Lutz.
