The officially licensed Scream Life-Sized Ghostface Animated Prop, which is a Spirit exclusive for 2011, is expected to ship today—and it just may be the long awaited answer to a collective fan demand.
Standing at more than 6 feet tall, this prop, which is shrouded in the killer’s signature black hooded robe, makes for quite an imposing presence. Not only does he brandish a bloody hunting knife but he speaks six menacing phrases (which fans will recognize from SCRE4M) when the accompanying telephone is answered.
These chilling exclamations include such fan favorites as:

“The voice” (courtesy of Roger Jackson) on the other end of the line will be instantly recognizable as that which has tormented many a buxom blonde—and a few brunettes, too—throughout the last fifteen years.
The prop, which is intended for indoor use, has posable arms and can be push-button or motion activated. It weighs in at just over 34 pounds and comes with an AC adapter.
The first reviews have begun to appear on the Spirit web site, and feedback has been unanimously positive. One customer referred to the item as “neat” while another offered, “Ghostface is a great prop.”
