Tonight, Dec. 10, the Fourth Annual American Country Awards aired on FOX. Trace Adkins and Danica Patrick hosted the show, which featured appearances from plenty of American Idol alums – one, in particular, who even received an award.

Season 10 American Idol winner, Scotty McCreery, not only appeared as a presenter alongside fellow Idol alum Lauren Alaina, but he also took home the award for Best Breakthrough Artist of 2013.

Scotty McCreery beat out Hunter Hayes, Lee Brice, Randy Houser, and Justin Moore in his category. He hopped up on stage and thanked his fans and added that he has the best fans in the world. McCreery went on to thank country radio and various members of his team, along with his lord and savior, Jesus.

McCreery took to his Twitter account to share his excitement:

Oh Yeahhh!! I've got the best fans in the world! This one's for y'all! #breakthroughartistoftheyear #ACAs #ScottyACA

This January, McCreery is set to launch his See You Tonight 2014 Tour, which will take him around the country, making stops throughout the United States and even in Canada. The tour will feature performances off his most recent album, “See You Tonight,” which was released back in October. Tour dates are still being added, so make sure to check back on McCreery’s official website to see if he will be visiting a city near you!

Congrats to Scotty on his ACA tonight!
