Scotty McCreery followed in Carrie Underwood’s footsteps on Wednesday night. The winner of America Idol season 10 was also a star who performed on the CMA Awards. While the young entertainer got to sing Walk in the Country, the fans might have noticed he was cut off. Perhaps it was the timing of the show, or maybe he wasn’t going to be singing the whole song in the first place, but either way the fans were slightly disappointed.
Leading into the commercial break of the evening, McCreery’s performance was definitely top notch. Yet, instead of singing the full three minute song, McCreery got cut off and roughly half of the song was heard by those fans at home while those in the arena apparently heard the whole single.
Even in the few minutes on television, fans got a clue of how much Scotty McCreery has grown musically. Able to interact with the crowd while performing and vocally giving a stellar performance, it is safe to say the winner of America Idol has conquered it all.
