Hawaiian Experience Spa in Scottsdale announced yesterday it will be relocating from its current location on N. 116th street to a new location on E. Via Linda later this month. The Hawaiian themed day spa is currently located at 10855 N. 116th St on the northeast corner of Shea Blvd. and 116th St. and will be moving four blocks away to 11300 E. Via Linda on the northeast corner of Frank Lloyd Wright and E. Via Linda on December 19th.
Hawaiian Experience Spa first opened in its current Scottsdale location in 2007. The current spa is 1,200 square feet with four treatment rooms, a lounge and a deluxe spa shower. The spa, however, is often full and therefore is moving to new location that is double the size. The new spa is nearly 2,400 sqaure feet with seven treatment rooms, a larger lounge, two infrared saunas, and two showers, one of which will offer steam therapy. The spa's new location is a former Massage Envy location that went out of business several years ago.
In order to transform the old Scottsdale Massage Envy look to a new, upscale, Hawaiian appearance, the spa has done tens of thousands of dollars in renovations including the installation of real hardwood, bamboo flooring throughout, installation of deluxe spa showers, construction of locker rooms, new painting, and of course lots of Hawaiian decor.
