Scottish Fiddle Workshop DATE CHANGED to 15 January

Word just in from the organizers. Due to a scheduling conflict, the date of the workshop has been changed to 15 January, rather than the 22nd. Everything else remains the same.

An introductory Scottish Fiddle Workshop featuring Arlene Patterson was held in October 2011. It was well attended, and another one is planned for 15 January 2012 in order to serve those who could not make the first one.

The Scottish Fiddle Workshop will be held Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Kirk of Bonnie Brae, 1201 South Steele Street (Steele and Arizona), Denver, CO 80210. The cost is $15.00.

The workshop is sponsored by Clan Mackintosh of North America with the help of Constance and Robin Lucy, and Larry and Barbara Hay. Kids, teens and adults of all playing levels are welcome.

Scottish fiddling styles will be explained and demonstrated. Bring your fiddle to play some of the examples along with Arlene Patterson and Loretta Thompson. All Scottish music lovers are also welcome.
