Scott Pilgrim vs. The World finally gets online multiplayer (Photos)

Have you ever played Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game and thought to yourself, "man this would make for some fun online co-op." Well now, nearly three years after the game was released on Xbox LIVE, there is some new downloadable content that finally gives players the ability to play together online.

The Scott Pilgrim Online Multiplayer plus Wallace pack was released today on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Network. The new DLC adds Scott Pilgrim's roommate, Wallace Wells, as a playable character as well as online multiplayer functionality that supports up to four players in both public and private matches. It costs 400 Microsoft Points ($4.99) to download.

Although Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is quite old by now, it is still one of the better beat 'em ups available on XBLA. The new DLC is a perfect excuse to go back and play through the game again with a friend.
