Scott Lively's only hope in defeating his crimes against humanity charges still appears to be rallying like-minded fanatics by ranting about how all of his adversaries are devil-worshiping socialists.
In an email republished by the equally unhinged Peter LaBarbera, Lively called the Center for Constitutional Rights, which is currently representing Sexual Minorities Uganda in its case against Lively, "a truly demonic organization."
Lively subsequently asked for people to pray for "confusion" among the CCR's "cultural Marxists" and "Marxist activists."
"CCR is the 'principality and power' behind the SMUG lawsuit and many far-left causes, a truly demonic organization, operating from the heart of New York City at 666 Broadway," said Lively. "Pray for all of these Marxist activists to be saved and delivered from their sin and error in rejecting the truth of God. As they press forward to attack me, pray confusion into their camp and for all of their strategies and tactics to be turned against them."
Like any true authoritarian conspiracy theorist, Lively also asked for prayers for himself as he is "-forced to endure this continuing persecution," apparently not appreciative of the irony that this "persecution" is a result of himself having sought to persecute others to the point of punishment by the death penalty.
"I am just a pawn in this international power-play, the one they want to make an example of to discourage all the Christians from speaking the truth of God," Lively claimed. "This case is hugely important to the global socialist agenda and its most powerful players. It will take a miracle to stop them, so please pray hard."
