On March 8, 2013, Diamond Dallas Page posted a video asking fans to help support former wrestler Scott Hall who is in need of hip surgery, reports Wrestling, Inc.
Hall, known as Razor Ramon in the wrestling world, reached out to Page to assist him in his quest for sobriety, as his numerous attempts at rehab have so far been unsuccessful.
He arrived at Page’s “Accountability Crib” in Atlanta on Feb. 19 to get his life back on track, according to Life Fantasy Basketball.
Hall has now been clean and sober for more than a month and has lost 10 pounds, according to Wrestling, Inc.
Page spoke with the wrestling website and said he is attempting to raise $80,000 for Hall, which will cover hip surgery, physical therapy, needed dental work, and other medical expenses. He noted that ten lucky fans who donate at least $3,500, will be flown to the “Accountability Crib” and will meet Scott or Jake “The Snake” Roberts.
For as little as $30, fans will get a phone call from Hall.
Page has set up a page on Indiegogo to raise the funds Hall needs. At press, the campaign has garnered over $6,000, with only 30 days to left to get the total monies required for Hall's medical treatment.
