"Walking Dead" has chosen its third show runner for the hit show, Scott Gimple, according to Huffington Post on Jan. 14. While this show is a favorite for many, it doesn't seem to bode well that this is the third show runner when the show hasn't even completed its third season.
Gimple will be replacing Glen Mazzara who successfully helped the show reach over 10 million viewers for the mid season finale. Scott has been with the "Walking Dead" since season two, working as an executive producer. Currently, AMC isn't commenting on the new show runner. It is rumored that co-creator of the graphic zombie drama Robert Kirkman had something to do with Mazzara leaving although he insists that it was a mutual decision.
Fans are happy that the show will be coming back for a fourth season, however, they are a little leery about the producer turnover as it seems there is a lot of passing around when it comes to who is responsible for telling this horrifying zombie story.
Are you excited to see where Gimple will lead this drama?
