Scott Eastwood fans, your prayers have been answered. According to an Oct. 18 report by Just Jared, the son of actor/director Clint Eastwood is actually in the running for the role of Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie.
A source revealed that he is one of five actors being considered. The other actors up for the part weren't listed in Just Jared's report, but E! Online recently named Billy Magnussen and Luke Bracey as two new contenders for the role. Jamie Dornan, Christian Cooke and François Arnaud have also been mentioned in casting reports.
Scott Eastwood is well aware of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie buzz. "What is all this talk about 50 shades of grey??" he tweeted. "What do you all think?? Let me know. #hype #eastwoodlivin." So he hasn't confirmed that he's talked to anyone about starring in the movie, but it does sound like he might be interested in it.
Scott and the actress playing Anastasia Steele, Dakota Johnson, are both the children of celebrities, so perhaps they've met before. Even if they haven't, they might click with one another since they have something in common. And since Scott comes off as being a fun, easy-going guy, surely he would put Dakota at ease during those nerve-racking sex scenes.
Scott would definitely be a big catch for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie producers. The copper-haired cutie hasn't starred in a major movie yet, but he is filming "Fury," which features big names like Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf. He's already become a big internet star simply by posing shirtless, and he does have his famous last name going for him. Scott's dad was also good at pulling off a steely gaze and playing emotionally unavailable characters with lots of baggage, so perhaps Scott has inherited this amazing ability.
So what do you think: Should Scott Eastwood be chosen to play Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie?
