Kourtney Kardashian recently showed off her svelte bikini body after losing 44 pounds just six months after giving birth to her second child.
While the 5-foot-tall Kourtney now weighs a sleek 106 pounds, her coattail-riding boyfriend, Scott Disick, wishes his baby mama weighed 93 pounds.
In a clip from March 10 episode of their show "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami," Kourtney gets frustrated after a weigh-in reveals she's hovering at 115 pounds. The scene was shot this past fall, shortly after Kourtney gave birth to daughter Penelope (who was born in September 2012).
"Do you know what you're supposed to weigh for your height?" Disick asks Kourtney in the clip. Kourtney, who gained 44 pounds during her second pregnancy, says she should weigh 105 pounds.
"What were you when I first met you?" Disick asks. Kourtney replies, "Like, 95 lbs." A wistful Disick then quips, "I feel like 93 is the dream. Your body was banging when I first saw you on the beach with that little *ss."
Kourtney's sister, Kim Kardashian, then asks Kourt how she feels about Scott's wish that she were thinner. "How do you feel when he's like, 'I want you at 95 pounds?' " asks Kim.
Kourtney replies, "It doesn't bother me because I have to do what's best for me. I can't compare myself to supermodels." Shortly afterward, Scott apologized to Kourtney, and told her she was beautiful to him no matter what her weight.
The scene was shot several months ago, and Kourtney, a mom of two, has since slimmed down to 106 pounds by following a portion-controlled organic diet and working out rigorously.
In 2009, Kourtney lost 45 pounds and slimmed down to 95 lbs shortly after giving birth to son Mason. Kourtney lost weight very quickly then with a strict diet and excessive workouts. After her second pregnancy, she wanted to shed the baby weight more gradually because she didn't want to repeat her extreme diet and workout regimen from 2009.
"I was comparing myself to other people and putting all this pressure on myself," said Kardashian of her 2009 post-baby weight loss. "I was working out and not eating enough. I definitely pushed myself too hard. This time, the focus is early on being a mom and being present, knowing my priorities."
Kourtney says the weight came off more slowly this time, and she made an effort to not be too hard on herself.
"I definitely had some moments when the weight was at a standstill," she said. "It was frustrating and I'd start to wonder, 'Am I ever going to get my body back?' Then I'd be like, OK, you just had two kids. Take it easy."
