Scoop: Sarah Palin gives 'thumbs-up" to hot Palin Romney 2012 ticket

Thumbs up to Sarah Palin who, unlike Obama, is both  transparent and accessible. Her fans consider her down- to-earth - a real person. Reporters aren't immune to Sarah's charms either and they especially love that down home openess and accessiblity.

Reporters are always hoping for that one priceless throw-away line that might be the start of a sensational scoop with their bi-line.  Access to question Obama has been so limited that resulting in  a press corps so up in arms that Gibbs recently met with them  to clear the air because  the press was as angry as - well - the Tea Party movement.  A ten year veteran, tumblr visitor stats

Ed Chen, a White House correspondent for Bloomberg News who is president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, said he asked for the meeting “to clear the air because in my 10-plus years at the White House, rarely have I sensed such a level of anger, which is wide and deep, among members over White House practices and attitude toward the press.”

Whether that gets worked out or not, it isn't likely that any scoops will be coming from the White House soon. It just ain't gonna happen if the Obama regime can help it.The Palin message is more transparent than Obama's controlled speeches  which  bar the questions that might catch him off guard.

As the speaker for the recent Boston Tea Party, both the members of the Tea Party movement and Palin were in high spirits after her speech. It was in that mood that

Edward Mason , writing for the Boston Herald, spoke with Palin and  captured that sensational throw-away line that is sure to have minds a-wagging for some time.

His scoop:

Conservative superstar Sarah Palin opened the door today to joining forces with Mitt Romney for a 2012 White House run – a hot ticket that has some Republicans licking their chops at the prospect of unseating President Obama.

“Sounds pretty good,” Palin declared at today’s Tea Party Express rally on the Common when asked about pairing up with the former Bay State governor – giving the idea a big thumbs-up as she left the stage after her headline speech.

Earlier tonight, as Palin stopped for cannoli at Mike’s Pastry in the North End, she said she was “serious” about the idea.

“I have a lot of respect for Mitt,” she told the Herald.

Asked who would be on top of the ticket, Palin roared, “Ha! I haven’t even thought that far ahead yet.”

Mitt Romney is a favored presumptive GOP nominee according to some in the media.  America is wondering - Has  Sarah found the door she wants to walk through or was she just putting us on?

Dallas:  Maybe someone will ask that very question of Governor Palin when she will  reportedly give a speech titled "Evening with Sarah Palin" in Dallas on April 30th at the Fairmont Hotel.. You can learn more about this event here.

  • Deni 2 years ago

    Hi Dev,

Yes! I have been reading stories of how the WH Press Corp is up in arms about the lack of access to open questioning of Obama. His entire campaign and administration has been
choreographed and scripted. How phoney!! So much for the false "transparency" so promised by Obama, LIAR!!

This country's dire economic crisis begs for someone with master business experience, such as Romney has. And two former governors with real experience (and actual LOVE for AMERICA in their heart) isn't a bad idea. It will interesting to watch....

Thanks for another great blog Dev!

  • Shelby 2 years ago

I don't think Mitt Romney would be so foolish as to put Sarah on his ticket...not with her closet full of weird skeletons, one being her determination to hide her medical records.

After McCain choose Sarah they FINALLY told NBC's Brian Williams that there is something controversial in Sarah’s medical records. McCain then WAITED UNTIL 2 HOURS BEFORE THE ELECTION to post on his website ONLY a letter from Sarah's doctor! What a sneaky and bizarre stunt! Whatever Sarah is hiding was bad enough that McCain didn't want the public to know about it.

Mitt Romney will do a better job of vetting Sarah Palin.

    "Palin releases letter from doctor:
    November 03, 2008

"She waited until 10:37 on the night before the election, but Sarah Palin has released a medical summary."

As reported by Jonathan Martin on his blog on Politico.

  • Amy 2 years ago

    Shelby,

What about Obama's refusal to release any records of his education at Harvard, anything having to do with his life, and also, HIS refusal to release his medical records...

    Did you forget all that?

  • Dev 2 years ago

Yee-Hah! Yep, Sharon, it's a long way 'til 2012 but we may take that ride and regardless, America is so inspired by Obama that we plan to give him a run for his presidency that he may never forget.

Just think - Obama is the only president whose policies ever inspired a whole movement - The Tea Parties!

It appears that may be his legacy?

  • Dev 2 years ago

    Hi Deni!

Thanks bunches hon. You nailed it when you said

"This country's dire economic crisis begs for someone with master business experience, such as Romney has. And two former governors with real experience (and actual LOVE for AMERICA in their heart) isn't a bad idea. It will interesting to watch..".

Americans know when our country is moving the right way vs wrong. Obama's policies are wrong for the economy, wrong for health care reform, wrong for security, wrong Wrong WRONG! I want to SEE LOVE in their heart for America, HEAR LOVE in their voice. I don't want to feel anxious nor concerned about whose there for us.

    Hi Shelby,

    What Amy said...

  • Dev 2 years ago

    Hi Amy,

Good to see you posting. And as always, you are right there with the right reminders at the right time. Thanks!

  • Amy 2 years ago

Thanks Dev and bearsrepeating! We know far more about Palin; and really most other politicians, than we ever have or will know about Obama.

  • Amy 2 years ago

Deni, I like Romney as well. He's got real world business experience and that speaks volumes.

  • Krystal 2 years ago

She's transparent and accessible because she's an air head...

  • Amy 2 years ago

Oh good, another trite comment trashing Palin.

Gee, can't these people ever think of anything to say?

  • Krystal 2 years ago

I can't believe you guys are serious. I'm all for Romney. As a matter of fact, I've always thought he was a decent candidate. AND...I was considering McCain until he brought Palin aboard. When a woman takes the office of President of the United States I want it to be someone that doesn't look like an idiot before she even gets in there. There is some sort of reputation to uphold, don't you think? It's not about trashing her...she's simply not made for office. She's much better up in Alaska doing her thing there away from the general public.

  • Amy 2 years ago

Okay, I see your point, but Krystal, can you give me some specific reasons why she couldn't handle it? Free from the cliche, trite used up notion that she's got the IQ of a potato..

What specifically, do you not like about her? I am curious.

  • Krystal 2 years ago

I don't like the fact that she doesn't really seem to know what she's talking about (Potato IQ or not). I mean, I feel that it's important to be so educated on the issues that you can stand on your own two feet, and I feel like all of her answers are rehearsed just for the sake of having an answer. While I think she's a powerful female figure as a governor, mother, wildlife activist, etc. I just don't think she has the right stuff to be president. Not to mention to bogus claims about the OBama campaign were ridiculous and uncalled for. "Death panels" Really? She has a lot to be proud of, but doesn't present herself in the appropriate way. While I think women like her can do a lot for our country, I just don't think highest political office is her cup of tea, and as second of command that would always be a possibility.

  • Amy 2 years ago

    Hi Krystal,

As for standing on ones feet and rehearsing answers, well I have to say that's something that all politicians do. Case in point, Obama cannot even speak to a group of folks unless he's got a teleprompter. Is he ignorant? I don't think so, I think he's misguided, but not stupid. I think Palin is just as intelligent, maybe in more of a "layman" way, but actually, I think that's part of her appeal to everyday Americans' , she's just a real woman, making her way, wanting to make the country she lives in better.

Do I think she's a scholar? No, but look at some figures that are, namely women, and you have people like Hillary. While she's extrememly intelligent and well learned... she's also one of the most crooked folks ever to hold office. But, she IS a lawyer LOL.

I realize that all politicians have a little of the crook in them, heck, when you think about it, all humans do. But I dare say Palin is far more open, honest and accesible than most in this arena. cont....

  • Amy 2 years ago

    Okay, "death panels".

As much as I'd love to agree with you there, to put it simply, Palin is right Krystal.

Let me explain. While death panels is a controversial way of referring to what's in this healthcare bill, it's not very far off the mark. Have you read the portion of the bill that Palin was originally referring to when she made those remarks?

I'm sorry, but if you read the language, Palin hits the nail on the head when she describes it in that manner.

Panels to be appointed by the "commissioner" (the commis btw, is appointed by none other than.... Obama) will require by law that folks on medicare or terminally ill folks come in and be "evaluated" every five years, to access how their conditions have "changed" and what the appropriate measures in terms of healthcare are. End of life counseling is mandatory, and if it's determined that prolonging with expensive treatments, is not the best choice, then drugs for pain and hospice care are recommended...cont...

  • Amy 2 years ago

Now, that might seem okay. The problem comes in, when the commish decides that folks are not worth the care, and I'm sorry, but that is not a myth, it's not untrue. The gov. WILL be rationing care, and the first to lose out, are always the older folks that don't have much life left anyway. That is common sense when you're rationing anything.

These folks might object, and say they don't want end of life counseling, and they want the expensive treatments to try and prolong their lives, but Krystal, that's what the commish and all the "regs and rules' are for.... they will simply deny those claims.

I cannot believe that you aren't just as outraged as most who've actually read the bill are. Countless experts, doctors, insurance experts... have come out publicly and said point blank, "Sarah Palin isn't far off the mark here, she's right on"...

You might like to think Palin was attempting to fear monger, but her real goal was to make everyday folks aware of what our gov. is up to.

  • bearsrepeating 2 years ago

What Amy said, all three posts to Krystal.

  • Sam 2 years ago

Sarah Palin is a fake and will never be taken seriously until she holds a press conference and answers unfiltered, unscripted questions. And she cant! BTW, Dev and Amy, on this post, are the same person.

  • Marilyn 2 years ago

Palin speaks loud, says nothing. I think Devonia Smith and Amy have the hots for "elitist" Palin. And before you start name calling, I am a Republican, but voted for Obama because of Palin. She is, indeed, an airhead and proves it more so every day. Amy and Dev- GET A LIFE.

  • Bill 2 years ago

I see Dev and Amy are here again. Always together. Could they be one and the same? Every post about Palin, they seem to be there defending this know nothing Bimbo. She is nothing more than a Dangerous Demagogue out for no one but Number One-Sarah Palin-Seditionist.

  • Gail 2 years ago

Romney will never pick Palin. She is poison. Amy, it seems you have a strange obsession with Palin, trying to sound highly educated, when, in fact, you are clueless and uninformed, probably getting most of your information from Fox News and Rush Limbaugh.

  • Gail 2 years ago

Kristal, you make a lot of sense. Palin is an airhead. Read Shannyn Moores blogs and see how the people of Alaska feel about her. Only 17 percent feel she is qualified to be POTUS

  • Tom 2 years ago

Where was the Teaparty when Bush was raping us all those years? Oh wait, hes republican and white.

  • Angus 2 years ago

Palins maturity level seems to have peaked in Jr. high as evidenced by her go to strategy of getting back at everyone who disagrees with or criticizes her.-i.e. I'll sue you if you look at me cross-eyed.

  • Frank 2 years ago

Yes Angus, I agree. Palins a quitter who is ready, willing and able to launch inflammatory, verbal attacks on those who disagree with her, but refuses to debate any issue. Why is this woman given so much for doing so little. You cant even ask her a question.

  • LA 2 years ago

Heck, I'm just glad that Palin isn't an arrogant, capitalism-hating, "voting 'present'", socialist with tendancies to do nothing about the important things and blow the little things out of proportion like our current President. Have you noticed that Obama says one thing, and does something totally different? He's an attorney and knows how to use his words.
Kinda like Clinton and his "what the meaning of 'is' is" crap.
Palin may not be the typical woman (yikes! shots a gun, didn't abort her phycially challenged baby, has a bunch of kids etc etc) but at least she's an American and cares about this country. Unlike Obama and his bunch of crackpot Chicago thugs.

  • bearsrepeating 2 years ago

    What LA said...

  • Amy 2 years ago

    LOL...

Sam, care to prove that accusation?

You're incorrect, I am not Devonia, I am not sure what gave you that idea. Maybe paranoia?

I do take that as a serious compliment however. I could not, nor would I ever try to measure up to her standards, I'm not a writer.

I live in Alabama Sam.... and I think, if I'm not mistaken, Devonia lives somewhere in the Dallas area, but I'm just assuming because of the "Dallas Examiner" up at the top.

Do you have anything substantive to say? lol... Have a fine day.

  • Amy 2 years ago

Marilyn. You demand that we don't call names, but you insult not only myself, but also the writer of this article.

Hots for Palin? No, not even a little. I simply conversed with someone about her, clearly in a way you didn't appreciate. But I'm not the one being rude and obnoxious, am I? ;-) Perhaps you're the one with the problem? I can't tell for sure.

I submit to you Marilyn, that perhpas, the real "airhead" and person with a problem, is the Republican that can be swayed to vote for a man so totally and wholelly against anything the repub party stands for, simply because of one itsy bitsy woman.

I am actually not a republican. ;-) I'm an independent. But there is no way in heck I'd ever vote for someone as radical as Obama, simply because the VP candidate for McCain was a as you purport, and "airhead".

Again, I submit, that perhaps you're the airhead, if you can be so easily bamboozled. I bet Obama is thrilled with you Marilyn....

    hahahahaha...

    Toodles

  • Amy 2 years ago

    Bill,

    Could you be Sam? LOL.....

I like her articles, and frequently read/comment.

You *have* heard of someone reading someone else's work with regularity, have you not?

    Oh my goodness.... LOL

What a bunch of strange people on here today Devonia.... hahahahaha

  • Amy 2 years ago

    Gail,

Question: Why, because I've written two posts regarding Palin,in and article ABOUT Palin no less, does that make me "obsessed"?

Don't answer please, it'll hurt... LOL

Question: How on *Earth* would you, or could you possibly know, any more than I know that you're stupid, how "uneducated" I am?

And the comment "trying to sound educated" seems to be to be rooted in your inferiority complex, or do you not have one?

I assure you I'm not "trying" to sound "anything". I answered Krystal, and you, for whatever reason (although I'm guessing it's because you're rude and mean spirited) have chosen to attack me personally.

    ??? Care to explain Gail?

And pray tell, how do you know that I'm misinformed?

I spoke of information in the actual bill. I have it saved to my favorites, shall I get some of it for you?

Wait! I'm certain you've read it.

    ;-) ciao now

  • Amy 2 years ago

LA, that's what I was thinking! LOL...

Oh darn, now they'll be accusing YOU of being me, Devonia, and Palin....

    hahahaha

  • Bill 2 years ago

Amy, who are you kidding? You are Devonia Smith and you, my dear, are totally obsessed with Sarah Palin! who by the way was the gouernor of the most socialist state in the U.S.

  • LA 2 years ago

Hey Bill, let's get those facts straight :)
California is the most socialist state in CA. I know, I live in California. Between the handouts for illegals (they got a free education at community colleges until it was shot down by the informed of this state), medi-cal and medicaid freely handed out, handouts for minorities that don't deserve it and the city of LA is millions of dollars in the hole because they have so many social programs, it can't sustain basic city resources. The state is BILLIONS of dollars in the hole. Where's our bailout? :)

  • Marilyn 2 years ago

Amy, Tell me what is so radical about Obama. Give me an example.

  • Melissa 2 years ago

Those of whom are AFRAID(and that is WHAT they are, AFRAID) of Palin are so because she has "traditional" values and scoffs at
the nonsense that is the mantra of progressive liberalism.
    You Betcha!

  • Melissa 2 years ago

Radical obama is a lying, corrupt, inept, racist, totalitarian megalomaniac.

  • Bill 2 years ago

LA moue to Alaska and maybe you can collect one of those oil revenue checks.

  • Marilyn 2 years ago

Melissa, Examples please, what is so radical about Obama. I think he is doing a fairly good job considering what he walked into.

  • Marilyn 2 years ago

And why is he racist and why are you answering for Amy. Explain please.

  • Melissa 2 years ago

    Bill,
Move to Kenya with the Great Reneger. (www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdKmc9aBELM)

  • Bill 2 years ago

Melissa do I detect a little bit of, say, racism there? I, too, would like to know why you think Obama is radical.

  • LA 2 years ago

    Bill,
What does "collecting an oil revenue check" have to do with a "socialist" state? Socialist state has nothing to do with oil revenue. If that is the case, then guess what? CA would STILL be a socialist state 'cause we have oil. Yikes, there buddy.
Answer my question though...why is AK a socialist state? Oil revenue checks don't count because I've already shot that down. :)

  • Melissa 2 years ago

    Marilyn,
How would I know "WHY" he (obama) is a racist?
If you "intended" for me to “illustrate” obama's racism..........
James Hal Cone's "religion" and obama's were the same for 20 some odd years.
Maybe you can connect the dots. Although, I suspect that even if you could, you wouldn’t.
ANYONE who supports ANY of obama’s IDIOCY is either not capable of rational thought, or they are looking for a handout.

  • LA 2 years ago

    Oh and PS Bill:
I don't need to collect any "checks", thanks. I work, go to school and volunteer. I don't freeload and sit on my butt all day, waiting for that welfare check. :)

  • Melissa 2 years ago

    Bill,
You couldn't detect your bottom with both hands and a flashlight.
Peddle your progressive liberal "ad hominem" silliness elsewhere.
    YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWN!

  • LA 2 years ago

    Teehee Melissa :)

  • Marilyn 2 years ago

Im waiting Amy, Melissa whats so radical and racist about Obama?
