Last night at Bingo when O-69 was called everyone stood and did a dance. Yes, it was drag queen humor all night long with Miss Richfield 1981 at the Hyatt Hotel in Minneapolis!
There was also a performance by Barbie Q and Gosh Alice walked around entertaining, changing outfits too many times to count.
A few hundred people showed up, some in sci-fi themed costumes from head to toe. There was Darth Vader’s gay brother in black spider web tights, Gorilla in a space suit from “Planet of the Apes,” an Avatar character, a robot, some Trekkies, people with aluminum foil on their heads, etc. The robot, Dawn McDonald from Minneapolis, won first place in the costume contest.
Raffle tickets were only $2 with prizes consisting of nights on the town in Minneapolis and St. Paul, with theater tickets, restaurant gift cards, one hour massages, and one night in a hotel.
Other raffle prizes included pottery, flowers, luggage, a pet condo with pet training and a meeting with a pet psychic, autographed Kevin Sorbo photos and DVDs, and more.
Bingo prizes included money, gift certificates to local places including the Melting Pot, with the biggest prize $1,000. In order to win the $1000 you had to purchase an extra bingo card for $10.
It was a fun night and especially grand knowing the money was going to a great cause. To find out more information about Bingo nights click here. Their next Bingo is a silver theme and is their 25th Bingo.
