Schwarzenegger and Stallone will enter "The Tomb"

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone will be together again on the big screen in the action thriller The Tomb, Summit announced Wednesday.

The news broke probably around the same time the longtime action heroes went in for surgery, which was posted on WhoSay by the former Governator, who recently completed filming The Last Stand, about a former Los Angeles cop turned border sheriff taking on a drug cartel when its leader escaped from prison.

"After all the action, stunts & physical abuse shooting The Expendables 2 and The Last Stand, it was time for a little tune up on my shoulder.  Look who was coincidentally waiting in line behind me for his shoulder surgery.  Now we're ready for another round of great times and action when we shoot The Tomb" he stated.

In The Tomb, Arnold will play a prison inmate trying to help other inmates maintain their humanity, while Sly will portray Ray Breslin, a security expert framed for murder and must devise a plan to escape a prison he designed; production is set to begin in Louisiana this spring.

Sly and Arnie, who first worked together on 2010's The Expendables, will reunite with Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, and Randy Couture for The Expendables 2, which comes out August 17.

(Trivia: Arnold's character in The Tomb and Willis' character in The Expendables are both named Church.)
