A Missouri school told a student to get breast reduction to stop bullying, FOX8.com reports Jan. 18.
Tammie Jackson of Moline Acres said her 13-year-old daughter was being harassed at her middle school over her large breasts. The sixth grade teen was suffering relentless bullying by other students. When Tammie complained to the school about the problem her daughter had been facing since last semester, the response was shocking.
“It makes me feel like now you are telling me it`s my fault. It’s God fault the way he made her. The lady on the phone said they could transfer my daughter and said her boobs were so large she will always get teased. And the only suggestion she had for me is to have my daughter get a breast reduction,” said Jackson.
When the news station called to get a response from the school, they said they were counseling students on the bullying issue. No information was offered by the school regarding the comment that the girl should get breast reduction. Jackson said the superintendent called and are trying to figure out a way to resolve the harassment her daughter has been exposed to. Will they find an appropriate answer?
