School sends parents email with sex site link

A website received some new sign-ups after the school system mistakenly sent out a link to their sex website.

The link was suppose to send parents of the Chicago Public School system to an Illinois Board of Education website, but because of an "L" that was added to the end of the website address, parents were taken to a "private invite-only website for women over 18, reports the Chicago Sun-Times.

“As soon as it was brought to our attention we sent out a letter with a corrected link, and apologized for any inconvenience it may have caused,” said Becky Carrol, a spokesperson for the schools.

The owner of the site told the Sun-Times that she did see a surge in traffic that led to new sign-ups.

The website has since added a message:

"Oops, someone has been naughty. Thank you, CPS, for introducing Illinois mothers to Isbel, a new intimacy destination for modern women."
