Schmetz Home Sewing Needles are now color coded

Schmetz has been the leading manufacturer of quality sewing needles since 1851. They recently announced their new color coding system for Home Sewing Machine Needles. No more eye strain, trying to read those tiny numbers on the needle shank. The needles will now have two bands of color. The top color band indicates needle type and the lower color band indicates needle size.

The color coded needles are expected to be in your local shop by early 2014. Download a free chart. There is an 8.5" X 11" version or postcard size to print out for your sewing space.
