Schindler's List screening comes to Boca Raton (Photos)

As part of the 7th Annual Festival of the Arts Boca making its way to Mizner Park this month, there will be a FREE special screening of the Academy-award winning film, Schindler's List, on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Mizner Park Cultural Arts Center, 201 Plaza Real (2nd Floor) in Boca Raton.

This film is celebrating its 20th anniversary and has touched many movie goers since it was first released. It has impacted lives in unforgettable ways. It takes a look at the harsh realities that took place during World War II.

This same evening there will be a presentation by author Thomas Keneally, "Fraternity Across the Lines of Race: The Case of Oskar Schindler". This will begin at 7:00 p.m. Keneally is best known for his book called Schindler's Ark, of which this film was based upon.

Thomas Keneally is well-known for some of his other works which have been declared a National Living Treasure by the Australian government. Those are The Great Shame, The People's Train and Three Families. He has written a new novel called The Daughter of Mars which is set to be released in the United States this year.

Space for this cultural event is limited and seats will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
