Schenectady Restaurant Week tops 20 venues

The 8th annual Schenectady Restaurant Week will include more than 20 venues for the February 18-24 promotional event.

The timing couldn't be better for local restaurateurs, with the seven-day event coming right after the Proctors Theater run of the Broadway production of "Priscilla: Queen of the Dessert," which itself draws many visitors downtown for dinner and a show or apres-theater drinks.

Restaurant Week is a joint promotion of the Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation and the Chamber of Schenectady County. Participating restaurants will offer $20.13 prix fixe meals The menus are available online.
