A cold front sliding south across the Great Lakes will bring scattered thunderstorms to West Michigan Tuesday afternoon and evening. While temperatures warmed into the upper 70s and 80s for most of the holiday weekend slightly cooler air returns for Tuesday. Temperatures today warm into the mid-70s inland and low 70s at the lakeshore. It will feel a bit muggy with dewpoint temperatures in the 60s.
Thunderstorms are likely as the cold front approaches Tuesday afternoon. No severe weather is expected but heavy rain and frequent lightning are likely. Check out these links for a few weather safety tips.
See the slideshow at the left for more on the thunderstorms.
