Scattered showers this morning, clearing skies for the workweek

After a rainy night last night, a few scattered showers will remain this morning as the system moves through. Temperatures today will return to slightly below normal with highs in the lower fifties. The sun will return for the rest of the workweek as high pressure moves back into the region. This area of high pressure will remain over the area for a while and will keep temperatures near normal, in the lower fifties. The next chance of rain for the Clarksville area will be the upcoming weekend as a weak system moves through the region.
