A cold front will move slowly eastward across the state today. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are will develop across the area as the front moves through. Conditions will begin to improve this afternoon in the wake of the front, as drier air spreads across the area.

Skies will become mostly clear tonight as high pressure builds across the state. This will set the stage for a dry and pleasant weekend.

Saturday and Sunday will both be mostly sunny. Temperatures and humidity levels will be higher on Sunday as a southerly flow on the back side of the high develops across the region.

Here is the forecast: For today, partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will reach the mid 70s. Winds W 5-10 mph.

Tonight, becoming mostly clear with lows in the mid to upper 40s. Winds NW 5-10 mph.

Saturday, mostly sunny with highs in the low 70s. Winds N 5-10 mph.

Saturday night, clear with lows around 50.

Sunday, mostly sunny with highs around 80.

Extended Analysis: Warmer and more humid air will spread across the region early next week. A cold front will move slowly southward across the Great Lakes Monday, reaching northern Ohio Monday night or Tuesday where it will stall. The front will move back toward the north as a warm front on Wednesday. This will result in a warm, humid, and unsettled patter across the area with daily chances for showers and thunderstorms.
