Scary Spice named new judge for 'America's Got Talent'

According to Reality TV World, Scary Spice from the Spice Girls has been named the new judge for ‘America’s Got Talent.’ She will be replacing Sharon Osbourne for the new season this summer.

Scary Spice, also known as Mel Brown or for her real name, Melanie Brown will be sitting next to Howard Stern and Howie Mandel for the eighth season of ‘America’s Got Talent.’

Howard Stern already announced he will be returning as well as Mandel who also announced today that he will be returning to the new season of the hit reality show.

Sharon Osbourne announced that she was quitting the show last August when NBC dropped her son, Jack Osbourne from the show, ‘Stars Earn Stripes.’ ‘Stars Earn Stripes’ is a physical military themed reality show and since Jack has Multiple Sclerosis, he was dropped from the cast. However, NBC denied the claim Jack made on them for discrimination.

Scary Spice will be a nice addition to the judges’ panel as she also starred on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2007 and finished in second place with her professional partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
