Tomorrow, Sunday October 13, 2013 and every weekend until Halloween October 31, 2013, the New York City Bronx Zoo is hosting Boo at the Zoo. From 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., the Bronx Zoo is offering some frights, scares and fun for all to enjoy.
There will be Halloween themed entertainment and great activities. Just Born Quality Confections, makers of Mike & Ike and Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews, is hosting this extravaganza along with the Bronx Zoo. They will be giving out to visitors, various treats such as Twizzlers, Kit Kats, Peanut Chews and Mike & Ike candy. All are invited to come and enjoy the fun. Some of the activities are; haunted hay rides, zoo shuttle, craft workshops and the Dinosaur safari ride.
If you buy your tickets online, you will receive a ten percent discount. If you pay at the entrance, tickets are full price. For the total experience at the zoo, an adult ticket will cost $30.56 online or $33.95 regular. For children ages 3 years old to 12 years old, discounted price is $21.56 and $23.95 regular. Prices for seniors are $26.06 discounted price or $28.95 regular. The Total Experience tickets are valid until November 3, 2013 any day of the week.
The Bronx Zoo is located at 2300 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, NY. In the Bronx, you can take the BX19 or BX9 to 183rd and Southern Boulevard or the BX12 or BX22 to Fordham Road. From Queens, you can take the Q44 to 180th Street and Boston Road. By train you can take the, #2 train to Pelham Parkway.
