Scary Movie 5 (Five) is a horror, comedy, parody of Paranormal Activity. Actually, Five, also parodies Black Swan, Madea and Inception, as well.
Scary Movie 5 is the tale of happy in love and marriage Dan, played by Simon Rex and Jody, played by Ashley Tisdale, who notice terrible occurrences once their newborn baby enters the scene. Normally, Satan allows a grace period for demonic activity, but, he doesn't do that, in this instance.
While Dan and Jody notice particular grievances surrounding their careers, they focus on the little one by placing cameras around their home and seeking the assistance of demonic experts.
Naturally, they must find answers before their world falls entirely apart.
For us, the viewers, we are hoping that writer David Zucker has more comedic influence on this film than Marlon Wayons did A Haunted House. After all, Zucker directed both Airplane and Naked Gun. Two very funny movies.
We shall see.
