Scarlett Johansson makes millions in Hollywood and she is now complaining that looking so sexy has actually hurt her career. The entertainer spilled her guts in the new February issue of ELLE Magazine as she is upset that the sexy stereotype hurt her career. On Friday the sneak peek of the periodical gave everyone a glimpse of the frustration the actress has faced with her curvy figure.
''It's frustrating, because you get pigeon-holed and it was difficult for me to get out of that. It was really hard for me to know what to do, which direction to go,” said Scarlett Johansson. “At the time I was only 18, 19. I was young. I've always been curvy. It runs in the family. Throw on an evening frock and all of a sudden it's like 'bombshell!'”
While Johansson whines about looking so sexy, it appears that she couldn’t go ugly and it cost her some movie roles. As so few people can relate to being a Hollywood “bombshell” the fans can only empathize with the extremely attractive woman who brings folks into the theater by just merely mentioning she has a part.
Good looks are always difficult to bare in Hollywood, but thankfully Scarlett can share her burden with the readers of Elle Magazine and a few more people can understand her dilemma.
