Actress Scarlett Johansson is expecting her first child with her fiancé, Romain Dauriac.
According to People, the news comes just six months after the actress, 29, got engaged to the 31-year-old French journalist.
“Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and to really savor,” she said.
The couple’s engagement was announced in September when Johansson was seen wearing an engagement ring at the Venice Film Festival. She and Dauriac first got together in November 2012, shortly after Johansson ended her relationship with Nate Naylor.
But Johansson is apparently not in a rush to get wedding details down.
“I’m not doing any wedding planning,” she said in January to Good Morning America.
But that has not stopped her wish to have a family.
"At some point it is something I look forward to," she told the Daily Mail in December. "I am fortunate in that I have had a long career—20 years—that has been very diverse. So, you know, picking a time to plan a family feels like something that I could do and not feel as though I was missing out."
This will be Johansson’s second marriage. She was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds from 2008 until their divorce in 2011.
