For the second time after a seven-year gap, Scarlett Johansson is Esquire's "Sexiest Woman Alive," reported the Huffington Post on October 7. She first won in 2006.
As the first woman to earn the "Sexiest Woman Alive" twice, Scarlett says that she has "gotta hustle" to take advantage of her bodacious body. As you age, Scarlettt jokes, "pretty soon the roles you're offered all become mothers. Then they just sort of stop."
Commenting on its decision of Scarlett, Esquire magazine noted: "Seven years later, she is the obvious choice once again. This time, even sexier."
Last year's winner was Mila Kunis: Find out how she shaped up to earn that honor by clicking here. What she and Scarlett have in common: A dedication to clean eating and fitness.
During her interview with Esquire after learning she'd received the "Sexiest" title, Scarlett focused on a platter of vegetables. A very large platter.
"My God," she said when it arrived. "So many vegetables."
What's clear from Scarlett's Esquire interview: Although the title of "Sexiest" sounds like someone who lives a decadent life, nibbling on chocolate and sipping red wine, Scarlett has an extremely healthy, calm lifestyle. Her idea of a vacation: Sleeping and reading.
"What I want to do right now is sleep late, read the paper. I've come to see that there's something pretty great about having two hours to read," she told Esquire.
And as far as that red wine and chocolate goes, Scarlett keeps it clean. Her choice of a beverage during the interview: Pure water.
So how does she maintain her fit and fabulous body in addition to water and veggies?
Fit Sugar reports that Scarlett does circuit training regularly as well as running intervals. Her diet emphasizes fresh fruit, oatmeal, salads and lean proteins.
