According to Inquisitr on Feb. 20, Scarlett Johansson was spotted with a sizable "rock" on her left ring finger. This had spread rumors around the internet that she may be engaged to Romain Dauriac, a French journalist. Fortunately, "Avengers" fan crushes can continue their course. Johansson's engagement has been debunked.
Though, she's not entirely off the market and still dating Dauriac, the rumor ceased when she was later asked about her desire to get married again.
“I never think about marriage. Is that weird? It’s really not important to me. I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married, actually. But it is different. It's hard to put into words".
Johansson was once married to Ryan Reynolds who played Deadpool in "Wolverine Origins", but now that his mouth is sewn shut, perhaps she'll find him more tolerable shall they ever engage in combat in a Marvel movie later on.
From her words, it appears that she's not "boy crazy" as some celebrity actresses can be. She has been known to be a bit more independent than most, and more focused on her career than really even thinking about tying the knot again.
Of course, with someone that goes by the Marvel mantra of "Black Widow", one might be wary of such a nomenclature.
Johansson also starred in the Broadway play, "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". There had been concern about her scheduling of projects between the third "Cat" remake, "Captain America" sequel in 2013, and other films, but the Broadway theater was willing to accommodate an actress that can bring such attractiveness to their theater.
With so many projects, it appears Johansson has very little concern about marriage.
